London, June 18: Leading global B2B timber eMarket TIMBERWeb has been highly commended in the E-Commerce Awards 2001, a competition organised by the Department of Trade & Industry’s UK Online for Business section.

The judges were impressed by the technological progress made by TIMBERWeb, by its e-commerce capabilities and also by the size of its growing online community.

The company was also named in editorial published in the UK’s Sunday Telegraph newspaper yesterday.

TIMBERWeb, current holder of a national E-Commerce @chievement Award 2000 for web excellence, has now been named in the final of the @chievement Awards for 2001. The newspaper said TIMBERWeb was in line for back-to-back success.

The winners of the @chievement Awards will be announced next week in London, UK.
