Home  Sustainability & Certification

Sustainability is becoming increasingly important for all elements of the timber & lumber industry. Legislation such as EUTR, which came into effect 3rd March 2013, has given a very strong steer to how sustainability and certification is becoming significantly more important.

Through increasing awareness of sustainable initiatives and certification schemes as well as their participants, TIMBERWeb is aiming to help improve the timber & lumber marketplace for the future. If you are a member of timberweb and have obtained certification from an industry recognisable certification body or are a member of a recognised sustainability group or initiative let us know and we will add you to our list.

In addition, if there are any initiatives, projects or organisations that are related to the sustainability of the forestry, timber & lumber industry that we haven't currently listed please let us know.
